This Privacy Policy applies to all data collections and other data processing of Authentys, Inc., Inc. through www.authentys.com (the “Site”). For purposes of this Privacy Policy any reference to Authentys (or “our” or “us” or “we”) shall mean Authentys, Inc., and its parent, affiliates, and subsidiaries. This Privacy Policy describes how Authentys collects, uses, shares and safeguards the personal information you provide to us. It also describes your choices regarding use, access and correction of your personal information.

Information Authentys, Inc. Collects

We collect the following categories of personal information from our clients, candidates and Site visitors:

• Contact Information such as name, email address, mailing address.
• Username and password when you register on our Site;
• Professional information, such as your job title, department or job role;
• Billing Information such as credit or debit card number, ACH payment information and billing address.
• Identifiers such as user name, account number, password, IP addresses.
• Education information, such as education history, membership in clubs and organizations, awards and honors;

Where we request information from you, we will let you know prior to collection whether the provision of the personal information we are requesting is compulsory or whether the information may be provided on a voluntary basis and the consequences of not providing the information.

We automatically collect certain technical information from visitors to the Site, such as the Internet protocol address of their device, login information, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, browser type and version operating system and platforms and as well as the information from cookies, log files and similar technologies (see below). We may also automatically collect certain information about their visits to our Site, such as download errors experienced and length of visits to certain pages. When you download, install or use Authentys, Inc. apps, we and our service providers may track and collect certain device related information and certain app usage data (such as the date and time the app on your device accesses our servers and what information and files have been downloaded to the app based on your device ID.

You may also choose to provide us with access to certain personal information stored by third parties like social media sites, universities, and professional organizations. By authorizing Authentys, Inc. to have access to this information, you agree that we may collect, store and use this information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Sensitive Personal Information: In connection with Authentys, Inc.’s services, Authentys, Inc. may request types of sensitive personal information. Sensitive personal information includes government-issued identification, driver’s license, or social security number, and other information deemed sensitive under applicable data protection laws. If required by applicable data protection laws, we will obtain your express consent to our use of your sensitive personal information/personally identifiable information and will abide by all applicable data protection laws related to such information.

Use of Personal Information

We use the information described above only for the following purposes:

• Provide and improve our Site and services (including our degree and credential verification services;
• Respond to communications from our users and communicate regarding any issues regarding verification services ordered by our users;
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations;
• Store and use information about users’ preferences;

• Facilitate the verification services ordered by our users;
• Monitor site security, bandwidth and capacity;
• Facilitate our Site operation and other online Authentys services;
• Provide requested credential information;
• Send e-mails and other promotional communications about our marketing, advertising and promotions in accordance with your marketing preferences. (You can opt-out of our marketing at any time);
• Investigate, prevent, and/or take action regarding: violation of our Terms and Conditions, illegal activities, threats to the physical safety of any person, suspected fraud, and as otherwise required by law;
• Exercise our legal rights or defend Authentys against legal claims;
• Use for Authentys, Inc.’s business purposes such as audits, fraud detection and monitoring, data analysis, statistical and/or survey purposes troubleshooting, new product and service development, modifying and enhancing our products, services, operations and the Site; and
• Create anonymized and aggregated statistics that do not reveal the specific identity of any person.

Where required by applicable law, Authentys, Inc. will seek your consent to process your information.

Authentys, Inc. may disclose your personal information to any affiliate within Authentys, Inc. for use in accordance with this Privacy Policy. This includes our subsidiaries, affiliates and our parent company.

Authentys, Inc. may share and disclose personal information about you with the following types of third parties and in the following circumstances:

• Government/Compliance with laws: We may disclose personal information to a third party where we are legally required to do so in order to respond to or comply with any applicable laws, regulations, legal process, subpoenas, court orders, or other government requests.
• Vendors, consultants and other service providers: Authentys, Inc. uses third party vendors, consultants, and other service providers to assist it in providing Authentys, Inc.’s services, and it therefore is necessary for us to provide these third parties with access to certain parts of your personal information in order to facilitate our providing our services.

Authentys, Inc. is committed to protecting personal information shared with it and uses reasonable physical, technical, and administrative security precautions to help protect personal information from misuse, loss, destruction, alteration, and unauthorized access, use or disclosure. Nevertheless, no method of transmission of information over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information that is transferred over the internet.

California Residents

California law permits California residents who provide personal information to request particular information regarding our disclosure of that information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Authentys does not disclose such information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Privacy of Minors

This site is not intended for use by minors. Authentys does not knowingly collect information from minors. To use the Site, you must be the age of legal majority in your place of residence. By using the Site, you hereby represent that you are at least the age of legal majority in your place of residence. We do not use an application or other mechanism to determine the age of users of the Site. All information provided to us will be treated as if it was provided by an adult. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a minor, we will delete that data from our systems.

Cookies, Log Files, and Similar Technologies

Technologies such as log files, cookies and/or similar technologies are used by Authentys and our partners, affiliates, or our service providers. These technologies are used to personalize the online experience, identify Site users and remember users’ settings and preferences, for authentication of visitors to the Site, in analyzing trends, administering the Site, tracking users' movements around the Site and to gather demographic information about our user base and to determine the usefulness of the Site’s information and the effectiveness of the Site’s navigational structure.
